How much Facebook is effective for advertisements

We know very well that Google AdWords and Facebook are most widely used advertisements networks for any niche.

Here I will give you an brief idea about how much Facebook is effective for advertisements.

Buying a like on Facebook depends on numerous variables, most notably:

1. Your company- the industry your company is in and what you're selling

2. Who your targeting- certain audiences are more expensive than others due to supply of that user base and demand to advertise against that user base

3. Customer demographics- demographics such as location (both state and country) will affect costs.

To test Facebook advertisements we use one of our Facebook page to share that and here is brief details about that.

How much it charge for per view:-

As Facebook is showing your article to users who interested in your niche and its charge from me as-

How much is charge if you want likes from Facebook:

Facebook charged from me as

Per view = ₹0.09

Means for per 1000 impression it charged ₹90 or $1.5 .

You can see related screenshots that i have attached with this article.

If you won't go through Facebook advertisements try with at least minimum rupees 67 or $1 to test how much it will cost from.

you if you think that it is in your budget you can go continue else you left it.

How much it's charge per click:-

I am not tested this method because if you want to visiter  then you have to go through Google AdWords, as they don't charge for view and you get maximum clicks from Google AdWords .

If you like this article share it with your blogger friends and enter your email address in our subscriber bar to get most of us.

If you have tried Facebook advertisements comment how much effective it was for you .

if not go through it try it once and then comment how much it is for you.

Provide Real Case Studies

People always want to read insider tips.

They want to know how any particular blogger is making money online and how much efforts he/she is paying to achieve his/her goals.

Real case studies give them more confidence and they start getting more interest in your blog.

NichePursuits and Backlinko are the two live examples of real case studies. Every article you read there it tested and proven.

You can interview experts in your industry to help your readers to learn more about your niche. You can invite experts on your blog and let your readers to interact with them directly.

So this is one of the ways which you can use to build your authority in your niche.

Final Words

If you really want to make money with your blog by promoting affiliate products then I would suggest you to work on the points which I mentioned in the article.

If you have any questions, please shout it out in the comments!

Write Review if You Have Used The Product

Many bloggers do the same mistake.. and they do it again and again.

They write about the product which they have never used. They find some images by searching on the Google and ultimately use them to convince their readers.

Think about it.

You started your blog to help people who are finding solution of any genuine problem… and you are providing them fake reviews just for the sake to earn affiliate commission.

If you really want to make money with your blog with affiliate marketing then write about the product which you have tried.

Don’t worry if you cannot buy the product, because you can always request the product owner to provide a review copy for the product. You can request them to activate the licence for 15, 20 or 30 days.

At my blog I have reviewed Kontent Machine V3 and Genesis Themes only after buying them and personally using them.

Use Professional Images

Using wrong image in your blog post can not only deviate your visitors but also make very negative impact as well.

Try to find images which are most relevant to your blog post and gives your readers a good feeling while going through your content.

For example, check QuickSprout, he always uses images which are of very high quality and clicks reader’s mind directly.

You can try DollarPhotoClub which has 27 million royalty free images which you can use anywhere. By paying just $10/month, you can download any number of images every month by paying $1 for each image.

Build Strong Branding For Your Blog

Strong branding will affect your success in promoting your affiliate product. For an authority blog, branding is important because it is what will make the blog authoritative.

In fact, branding is important in any business. Take for instance, when you hear about Google, what will come in your mind? Search engine. When you hear about Facebook, what will come in your mind? Social network.

If you can brand your blog so that people can associate your blog with your niche every time they hear about your blog, you’ve successfully made your blog an authority. And it will be easy to promote affiliate product on your blog.

Promote Your Affiliate Product Through Mailing List

If you have a mailing list, all your promotion efforts will be a lot easier. That’s because once you’ve built authority blog in your niche, it is easy to attract people to join your mailing list.

You will also have loyal readers and subscribers that will follow each of your recommendation, no matter what it is.

It is a good idea to focus your Affiliate Marketing Promotion on your mailing list instead of your blog because it will bring you more result and you can have less affiliate advertisements on your blog.

ConvertKit is the best option to start email marketing because you can grab first month 100% FREE by clicking here.

Post High Quality Content Regularly

Of course, you can’t build an authority blog without posting high quality content regularly. Remember, it’s not by updating your content regularly that will make your blog an authority.

Yes, you can update your blog with PLR content and that will not make your blog an authority.

You have to post high quality content to your blog regularly in order to establish reputation and credibility in your niche. Original and unique content is what will make your blog authoritative.

1. Establish Professional-looking Blog

If you want to make your blog an authority in your niche, a professional design will help you to create good first impression for your blog.

Professional-looking blog is considered more authoritative for your audience. If you don’t believe it, change your blog design into a cheap and ugly design and watch your traffic and readership drop quickly.

Make your blog professional-looking, and people will regard your blog as credible and reputable blog.

How to Build An Authority Blog for Affiliate Marketing Promotion

Affiliate marketing and authority.

Both goes together if you really want to see handsome income coming every month.

Selling products on your blog (your own or an affiliate product) is all about your trustworthiness and authority.

People will buy only and only if they trust you.

When I started affiliate marketing around 2 years back, I did few mistakes.

I wanted to sell my products to people who have never interacted me, who didn’t know who I was.

So why should they believe on me?

Why should they spend the money on a product which I am suggesting in my review?

I got the answer when I made no sales after spending 4-5 months.

So I thought about building an authority so that people can trust what I want to say and ultimately they buy the things which I suggest them to buy.

So in this post I’ll talk about few core ingredients which are necessary to make affiliate sales on your blog. Some ingredients which I have personally used in last 2 years and seeing a huge increments in my sales.

In a nutshell:

People don’t subscribe just because you’re asking them to subscribe.

You need to give them strong reasons to subscribe, like giving a freebie that is worth paying for and/or providing great value through your blog posts. And always engage once you started building your email list.

Remember – Interaction is the key to monetize your email list.

Use Optin Form in Your About Me Page

Use Optin Form in Your About Me Page

This is the second most visited page of any blog.

So if you are not using any optin form in your about me page, you are missing huge number of subscribers.

This is the page where you make a personal connection with your reader, that’s why this is the right time to ask them to give their name and email to download your book and subscriber in your newsletter.

Here is the screenshot from About me page.

Use Content Upgrade

Content upgrade is the term which was first used by Brain Dean from Backlinko.

In this technique, we place a simple call to action in our most famous articles and ask people to subscriber to our list.

In article “What it Takes To Become an ‘Outstanding’ Blogger” Kulwant have used content upgrade CTA.

When user finishes reading my article, he ask them to join in the list if they want to become an outstanding blogger.

Here is the screenshot of content upgrade.

Engage More on Social Media

Social media is a big platform to give boost to any online business.

People are spending more time on social media websites then watching TV, reading newspaper or listening radio.

They are consuming more content on social media than any other platform.

With the revolution of smartphones, the number of users are increasing day by day.

So start engaging more on social media.

Once you help people in any famous Facebook group, more people would love to know more about you. They are going to check your profile and ultimately visit your blog if you have added your blog on your Facebook profile.

Here is how Kulwant has included his blog’s page on his FB profile.

Show Proof and Build Trust

No one likes to give their email address if you don’t provide any proof (be it testimonials from others, reviews of your freebies or anything that makes your offer unique).

The best way to capture your first time visitors’ attention is through building credibility.

You can build instant trust by doing these things:

Make your blog design appealing (it instantly creates a professional feel)Show testimonials from real people (ask people to review your product who already have downloaded your stuff; if they like your freebie, they’ll happily do it)Get more blog comments on your blog posts (after all, no one likes to feel they’ve landed on a ghost town)Show the number of downloads (if you got more than 1000 downloads), it can dramatically attract more people to get their hands on your freebies.

Create Scarcity

Ask yourself this question – why should a visitor subscribe to your newsletter NOW and not after a week (or month)?

“Scarcity often creates urgency.”

People always want what they can’t have or don’t have. The best way to boost your email subscribers is to create products that are worth paying for and giveaway them for free to collect their email addresses. People would be happy to subscribe to your email lists if your offer is valuable.

Use Exit Intent Technology

Exit intent is a technology which has changed the game to collect the leads completely.

As soon as readers finishes reading your blog post, and try to close the browser, a window will popup, asking them to put their email and name to grab the freebies.

At BloggingCage you can see this popup when you try to close the browser.

With ThriveLeads plugin you can create such stunning exit instant popup very easily.

Install Welcome Gate

Welcome Gate is one of the best and free list building plugins available in the market.

What it does is it creates a beautiful squeeze page on your WordPress site and attracts more people to subscribe to your email list.

This plugin redirects the first time visitors to a great looking landing page (without showing a popup). People are only redirected to the squeeze page when they go to your home page.

Use a popup (light box)

Like it or not, popup’s work. They do a fantastic job in increasing your conversion rates on your email list.

Using cute popup software like ThriveLeads, you won’t hurt your blog readership, instead they boost your email subscribers. According to a recent survey, the sites that use popup’s dramatically improved their list to 400%. It says it all!

Drive more targeted traffic

One of the basic reasons your email list never grow is you don’t have sufficient traffic. And driving more traffic to your websites is not a rocket science. Here are few simple ways to get targeted traffic to increase your email subscribers.

Frequently guest post on good blogs: You don’t always have to land on top blogs, but make sure to guest post on the blogs that are better than you. And do it often.Comment on the blogs you read: Most people don’t comment or share even after reading a great blog post. Try to avoid it and start commenting like a pro on the blog posts whenever you read something awesome like this.Improve your on-page SEO: Most new bloggers don’t optimize their blogs for the search engines. This includes having targeted keywords on their meta description, title and tags. If you are using WordPress, consider using SEO plugins like Yoast WordPress SEO or All in one SEO to boost your website reach.

Offer a freebie

The number one reason why your email list is still not growing is because you are not offering any freebie to your visitors.

Most online readers are lazy. They want a crazy offer to give their emails in order to get it.

By offering something for free (be it a free guide, theme, plugin etc) you can boost your email subscribers rate.

On BloggingCage you are getting Blogging Domination Guide which teaches you how to start a blog and start your online career.

How to Boost Your Email Subscribers in 2017

Email list is one of the effective ways to grow your online presence and income. Most online gurus say “money is in the list” and it’s 100% true.

If you are not building an email list yet, you are losing hundreds if not thousands of dollars every single month on the table.

The most common problem I hear when it comes to building an email list is “how to get more email subscribers?

Let me discuss few strategies to get more email leads to your list without sweating much.

From $0/month to $20,000/month, this was big change in my life.

Till mid-2016, I was making money with SEO only.

But once I started exploring more experts and met few people in different conferences, I found one thing in COMMON.

Most of them were doing paid ads.

They all were putting the money in ads every single day and seeing the profit (or loss) very next day.

No 3-4 months patience to see the keywords going up in Google and finally making money with SEO.

They were playing the game with money… Just put the money one day and see the results very next day.

With the intention to learn from these big experts, I joined STMForum in mid-2016 and soon i joined Aff PlayBook Forum.

My experience with both of these forums is spectacular, so I am going to start it by giving you some ideas (and forum sneak peak) of Aff Playbook first and soon I will share about STM Forum too.

11 Tips to Boost Your Android Phone's Battery Life

Top-notch Android smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy S5 and HTC One (M8) are powerful, but unfortunately, they don't have endless battery life. In fact, many Android phone users would be happy to make it through a single day, hoping that a nightly recharge is sufficient.

Sadly, it sometimes isn't. A number of factors have conspired to reduce gadget endurance over the past several years. Thinner designs with less room for batteries, larger and brighter screens, faster quad-core processors, more software that runs in the background, and power-hungry GPS radios all share responsibility. The move from 3G to 4G networks a few years ago—particularly of the LTE variety—has also taken its toll.

But there's much more to poor battery life results than that. Fortunately, there's plenty you can do to stem the flow of juice from your Android device. To write this article, I used a Google Nexus 5, as it's running the latest version of Android 4.4 KitKat with no extra interface enhancements, but these tips should apply across just about any Android phone. Try these tips to extend your handset's battery life:

1. See what's sucking the most juice. Navigate to Settings > Battery to see an organized breakdown of what's consuming your phone's battery. Applications and features will display in a descending list of battery hogs. If you see an application you barely use or a feature you never use, you'll want to uninstall the app or turn off the feature.

2. Reduce email, Twitter, and Facebook polling. Set your various messaging apps to "manual" for the polling or refresh frequency, just as a test, and you'll instantly extend your device's battery life by a significant amount. Once you see what a difference that makes, try re-enabling just the most important ones, and possibly reducing their polling frequency in the process.

3. Turn unnecessary hardware radios off. It's great that today's phones have LTE, NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, but do you really need all five activated 24 hours per day? Android keeps location-based apps resident in the background, and the constant drain on your battery will become noticeable, fast. If your phone has a power control widget, you can use it to quickly turn on/off GPS (the largest power drain), NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and LTE. On stock Android, swipe down to bring up the Notification bar, and then tap the icon on the top right corner.

4. Use the extra power saving mode if you have it. The aforementioned Galaxy S5 and HTC One (M8) both have Ultra Power Saving and Extreme Power Saving modes, respectively, that limits the phone to texting, phone calls, Web browsing, and Facebook. This can squeeze extra hours or even a day of standby time out of just a few remaining percentage points of battery.

5. Trim apps running in the background. From Settings > Apps, swipe to the left; you'll see a list of apps that are currently running. Tap on each one to see what they're for; you can stop any apps that you don't need running in the background all of the time.

6. Dump unnecessary home screen widgets and live wallpaper. Just because they're sitting on the home screen, seemingly inactive, doesn't mean they're not consuming power. This goes for widgets that poll status updates in the background, as well as ones that just sit there but look pretty and animated—not to mention animated live wallpaper. (But don't dump everything, as part of what makes Android great are the home screen customizations; just remove the ones you don't use.)

7. Turn down the brightness and turn off Automatic Brightness. It's probably obvious at this point, but you'll be surprised by how much this one alone helps to improve battery life.

8. Update your apps. Applications often get updated to use less battery power, so you should make sure your apps are up to date. Even if you configured the phone for automatic updates, some apps still require that you manually install updates. Check for app updates in Google Play by hitting the menu key and going to My Apps.

9. Keep an eye on signal strength. If you're in an area with poor cellular coverage, the phone will work harder to latch onto a strong-enough signal. This has an adverse effect on battery life. There's not much you can do about this one, but keep in mind that this could be the culprit behind a seemingly weak battery; it's worth popping the phone into Airplane mode if you don't need data or voice calls.

10. Check the reviews. We conduct battery life tests on every single Android phone we review. Unsurprisingly, the results vary widely between handsets, even on the same network. When choosing a phone, make sure that real world talk time is sufficient. You can't go by what the manufacturer says; we see variances on the order of several hours of usage in both directions on a regular basis.

11. Buy a battery case or larger extended battery. Battery cases combine a hardware enclosure, which protects your phone, with an extended battery that can double your phone's endurance. You can find models compatible with popular Android phones from a variety of manufacturers, such as the Mophie Juice Pack and Incipio Offgrid Battery Backup Case (both for the Samsung Galaxy S4).

12 Blogging Mistakes That Almost Kill Anyone’s Blog

never committed any mistake in his whole blogging journey?

To be honest, there is no one.

Why no one?

Because there is no one in this world who is perfect, and we are prone to commit some mistakes in our life. . We live in a world where everything can be rectified based on our learning from our past mistakes. The more you commit mistakes, the more you get to learn from them. .

We all have committed some mistakes in our blogging journey and that’s why ONLY we know how to fix them.

Yes, every professional blogger has made some mistakes in their blogging life, and if they can make such mistakes then why can’t we?

All you need to know is how to fix your mistake to give your blogging life a great peak point.

In reality, every mistake you made till now is a lesson for your blogging journey which can affect your blog’s traffic, revenue, relations and other things.

All these depend on your experience, skills, hard work and learning.

Likewise, I have committed the same stupid blogging mistakes that affected  me in term of activity, income, relations and time. Due to which I lost traffic, Alexa rank, Adsense revenue score and on top of it lost relations with readers and wasted my time.

Well! Well! After a great downfall in my blogging journey, I was able to identify my blogging mistakes and learned how to fix them.

So today we will discuss all those silly mistakes that anyone can encounter in their blogging Journey.

Believe it or not but these silly blogging mistakes can cause a lot of trouble even if you work 24*7 on your blog.

So what are the possibilities of mistakes in your blogging journey and let’s see how we can fix these mistakes.

BEING LAZY IN WORK

Talking about laziness, then yes, I am lazy. I don’t know well about you all, but at times I am too lazy to work.

Truly speaking, I am lazy to update my blog  on regular basis. I am too lazy to write all the great ideas that I  scribble on paper. I want everything easily. I don’t want work hard to achieve success.

I forget that achieving success is not that easy.

bloggig mistakes

There is no substitute to  hard work.  If you want to achieve success, then you have to work hard.

You don’t get things easily because others are working hard to succeed in life.

Morever, If we were to get everything easily, then there would be no value left to it.

Therefore, avoid being lazy and become more proactive.

Right?

Tips: Avoid laziness and become productive. Laziness may harm your career and destroy your online business, which has  just started expanding. Do exercise; keep your mind fresh and focus on work.

This will help you to avoid the laziness.

Make your blog posts search engine friendly

You should make sure the blog template and blog designs  are as per the SEO guidelines. Keyword rich category names and blog posts will increase the visibility of your blogs. This will help in driving more traffic to the blogs.

Develop the conversation

Some of your blog posts might attract huge number of comments. The credit goes to the kind of writing style, content and the writer. However, it is very important to engage in conversation with the readers through the comment section. You can link back to various articles through the comments. You can name them and thank in your next set of articles which will encourage them to comment and tweet more about your posts.

Identify the competitor’s blogs

Finding the influential blogs in your niche is an important task. You can leave your comments in their blog posts which will create a back link to your blog. However, make sure to add something intelligent to their blog posts. This will help in creating quality back links.

Submit to blog directories

Find out influential blog directories and submit your blog. There are large numbers of free directories available and they will help you to generate potential traffic to the blog.

Newsfeed, email subscription: Newsfeeds and email subscriptions are very important. Hence, create a process and make it simple for your readers to receive the updates and feeds.

Social Media Platforms

Business blogging can be taken to the new heights by using social media marketing campaigns. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, MySpace are some of the best platforms that will help you to get popularity. The number of active users is raising by millions on a monthly basis. Hence, they give a potential platform to reach out to active users.

The above described list items will help you to create a profitable business blog. Simultaneously, it will also help you to improve the customer base and reach of your business. Today’s world is ruled by the internet medium. Hence, make sure you did not miss out the golden opportunity to break down the obstacles and reach the sky.

8 Steps in Making a Profitable Business Blog

Business owners have understood the potential of business blogging. It helps them to establish their expertise and reach to potential customers instantly. Business blogging also helps them to get better ranks in search engine results through which their visibility will get improved further.

However, when more number of business users try to actively blog, the blogosphere becomes a difficult place to survive. Here are 10 steps that will help you to crate a profitable business blog.

Identify your target audience

The face of business blogging is very different from normal blogging. The enterprise owners have to be very specific on what they want. People are interested in reading content that they can use.

Blog for the readers

After identifying your target readers, it is important to blog for them. A few posts about your breakfast and dinner in a row and you are toast. You can use the blogging portal to communicate with your audiences.

Constructing your outreach message and sending it

Now that you have a list of people you want to reach out to, you do need to come up with a good message that will get them engaged and ready to take you up on your offer.

There are a lot of great resources on the web on this topic, and while I do encourage you to do some research of your own, here are the three I recommend you to start with:

Neil Patel’s guide on how he built his first business through email marketing.Robert Williams’ tutorial on writing a cold email.David Rodeck’s case study on cold calling.

When it comes to sending your message, getting the offer out, negotiating the final deal and so on, you can either use email, or look into specialized proposal tools.

Email is obvious, no further explanation needed. For specialized tools, check Bidsketch. It will take care of designing, sending, and then tracking your proposal (it lets you know how the client interacts with it).

I advise against social media outreach, though. Maybe I’m biased, but it’s just that using social media for outreach has never worked for me.

Your turn to take action

The strategy presented above can be implemented in less than two weeks (provided that you already have a blog). This means that you can see your first deals – and dollars – coming in sooner than you think.

On a personal note, I have to admit that the tactics described in Step #2 are something I do regularly every week. They work extremely well if you spend a while crafting your offer and making sure that it resonates with people.

Finding people to reach out to

Once you’re done with the setup, you should start sniffing around and looking for people you can offer your freelance blogging services to.

Like I said, a good type of service to start with is writing blog posts. The first obvious thing to focus on is to make sure that you find people who are likely to have a need for this type of services.

For instance, a common trap bloggers fall into is reaching out to blogs that have their publishing processes and content already pretty figured out.

Of course, joining ProBlogger is still possible, but you won’t get there just by writing an email saying “Hey, I’m a blogger, I want in!” So for now, we need to focus on another group of potential clients.

Go ahead and try the following three methods:

1. Find businesses with blogs (company blogs)

This is probably the most straightforward tactic out there. Your goal is to find company blogs that aren’t run up to their highest potential.

Remember when I told you about the mistake of trying to target blogs with already optimized content and well thought-through processes? Here, you’re doing the exact opposite thing.

You’re searching for blogs that “don’t quite get it.” Your opportunity is to step in and make things better through your content.

You can find such blogs via Technorati, BuzzStream, or Inkybee.

2. Find people who have just bought a site

The site flipping market is quite big on the web right now. Literally every day tens of sites change hands and start operating under new ownerships.

Now, the thing about people who have just bought a site is that they could also need some fresh content for it.

Find those people through Flippa and add them to your list.

3. Find well-known bloggers with side-projects

Popular bloggers tend to run more than one blog. And although their flagship is probably well taken care of, their other projects might not be.

Do a little research around your favorite bloggers and approach them with a direct offer to write content for their other blogs.

Don’t Have a Popular Blog Yet? Here’s How You Can Still Make Money From Freelance Blogging

Freelance blogging is rather under-appreciated as an income stream among bloggers.

It probably has something to do with it not being that sexy at first. After all, freelance blogging is 100 percent active income where you directly exchange your time for money.

However, the nice thing is that if you need X number of dollars by, say, the end of the month then there’s really nothing that comes even close to freelance blogging.

What’s freelance blogging about

I should probably explain the idea of freelance blogging just a bit to get everybody up to speed.

In its most basic form, freelance blogging is about writing posts for other people’s blogs.

The great thing about it is that you can choose your clients, as well as moderate how much work you’re willing to do every month.

And while I will admit that building a dependable career that way can be tough, getting started and earning your first dollars is actually way easier than going the traditional “make money” route:

Freelance blogging is the quicker approach, and you don’t need to be extremely successful or popular to pull it off.

There are three main steps in the process:

Step #1: Getting the initial setup out of the way

To get started, you need two elements: a blog of your own and a portfolio of posts.

The key here is to have posts that are of good quality and provide some useful information. But I guess this is something you’re working on right now anyway, so we can probably scratch this off the list.

By the way, if you indeed are in the middle of launching a niche blog then you don’t need to go far for some on-point adviceor even more advice.

Here’s what to do to make your portfolio appealing:

Make sure that your blog has at least 20 quality posts and that it’s been online for at least 3 months. Most top bloggers out there see their blog as a business. If you have the passion for blogging, you will probably see your blog as a business as well. Like any business, Blogging requires entrepreneurial skills as well. Like any business, the service provider takes care of all the needs of its customers.

In blogging, you as the blog owner, is the service provider who provides valuable tips to your readers i.e the customers. The readers truly are the customers because if they trust you then they will buy the products that you recommend and in exchange you earn money from your affiliate sales.

With more and more experience as you develop your entrepreneurial skills you get more readers and more customers and you make more money.

Conclusion

So, that’s about it. The reasons I mentioned are the best reasons why you should start blogging in the first place.

Over to you. Can you think of any other reason why blogging is way better than studying for a job. If so, share your views with us in the comment section. We love to get feedbacks.

Blogging develops your Marketing Skills

Blogging requires marketing, extensive marketing if you want to expand your reach. Marketing is not only about sharing your post on social media. It also includes when you share it and how you share it.

Sharing your posts on Facebook, Twitter , Google Plus and LinkedIn requires a lot of strategy than you might think. Your time and your method of sharing determines your CTR. Another thing about social media is that not everyone sees your posts because everybody is not logged in at the same time and with too much going on in the news feed itself, someone logged in may also miss your update.

A better approach of Internet Marketing is E-mail marketing which includes gathering a list of subscribers. E-mail marketing also has higher CTR(Click through rate) than Social Media marketing. Ideal for making affiliate sales, you could probably earn thousands of dollars if you can do it effectively.

Of course, acquiring these skills takes time, probably years. Some of the top affiliate marketers like Zac Johnson and John Chow have been doing these for years.

Blogging develops your Interpersonal Skills

Like writing skills, a lot of emphasis is given on developing interpersonal skills which simply means the art of communicating. A lot of classes are held in my college for developing communication and interpersonal skills which are not very effective simply because they lack practical discussions.

In blogging, you need to make relationship with other bloggers because they are the ones who will share your posts and follow you on social media. When you interact with other bloggers especially established bloggers, it not only increases your knowledge but also develops your communication and interpersonal skills.

#3. Blogging develops your Programming Skills

Most schools and colleges teach programming languages like C, C++ and Java. But there is a bigger world out there and a lot of other programming languages.

Some of the basic things that you will learn when you start blogging are HTML and CSS. If you didn’t know, HTML and CSS are mostly used for designing web pages.Blogging requires you to learn at least some basic HTML and CSS skills which is better than nothing.

PHP and Javascript are more of processing languages. They are mostly used for developing applications and data processing on the backend of your site. More difficult than HTML and CSS, but you get familiar with them once you start experimenting with them. The same goes for HTML and CSS as well.

Why Blogging is Way Better Than Studying For A JOB?

I am a 3rd year engineering student of B.Tech IT and have been blogging for about 15 months now. But from what I have seen, if you have got the passion for blogging then you will learn some pretty good stuff in 4 months of blogging than in 4 years of studying engineering.

Here are some reasons why I think being a self-employed blogger is way better than studying for a job.

#1. Blogging develops your Writing Skills

When you study in school or college, a lot of emphasis is given on developing your writing skills. Not only in school or college, but you also face parental pressure at home. Blogging can really help in this case.

Blogging means sharing your thoughts, experiences, tips etc. Now, if you want people to read your posts or articles, you need to have good writing skills. Blogging requires different sets of writing skills which includes well structured and meaningful sentences. It also requires short but descriptive articles i.e you would want to convey more in fewer words, simply because no one likes to read a long boring post which repeats the same thing over and over again.

Writing content for your blog isn’t the same thing as writing articles in your exams. In exams, you would simply get less marks if you screw up. In blogging however, you would not be able to earn money (if you want to) or to put it in a simple way, no one will read your blog.

Show Relevant Blog Posts

There are few plugins with what, you can show relevant posts at end of every blog post of your, so it will make the job easier for me. You’ll just have to install plugin, sit back and relax. The plugin itself will do the stuff for you, find relevant blog posts from your whole feed, and showup them (with thumbnails, and a summary too). Isn’t it so nice?

The names of plugins to show relevant posts are linkwithin and nRelate. This two are the two best I think!

5. Give them Homework, and weekly tasks to do!

This idea works like a magic to increase relationship with your reader and increase reader engagement on your blog!

At the end of every post, give them some homework to do, and some weekly and monthly challenges to finish.

If you can add a little prize for completing the monthly challenges then it will work even more than expected.

So…what do you think?

I’ve shared some ideas to improve reader engagement on your blog.

Let me know what do you think about these sure-fire ideas, and yeah, before commenting, do click on social shares too.

…and before all that, first go and implement these ideas to your blogs, its better to act, rather than just read

Media – Audio, Videos and Images drive crazy

A boring essay-alike blog post doesn’t make any sense or engagement at all.

You need to give it a life by adding images, videos and audio. This drives the readers crazy.

You will notice that most of pro-bloggers do videos, podcast, and put images in their blog posts, this is really great idea for increasing the engagement on your blog, this also decreases the bounce rate of your blog.

A picture says thousand words and a video is equal to hundreds of thousands of words!

3. Interlink Your Old Blog Posts

Why people leave your blog?

Because they got what they needed, now they don’t know what to do on your site so they left it and started surfing around web.

What if you give the links to your relevant blog posts, they will definitely want to read it and they will be engaged in your blog!

This will also make them your fan, and increase your subscriber rates.

5 Proved Ways to Increase Reader Engagement on Your Blog

Imagine, you have a blog with daily 1M impressions, but there’s no involvement of readers in your blog posts, They don’t click likes, g+’s, tweet, they don’t comment, they don’t buy your products, then imagine one blog with having daily only 1K daily views, but the audience here is engaging and interested in your stuff, making your posts viral, commenting, subscribing, and buying your products.

Which blog would you like to have?

The one with 1M views per day, but no engagement, or the one with 1k daily visits, but having huge reader engagement.

Obviously, it would be the one blessed with reader’s love!

Most of new bloggers think that success of a blog depends on the traffic and hit count of the blog, but it isn’t, success of a blog is measured via the engagement of readers there!

I’m going to share a few well-working tips to increase the reader’s engagement on your blog and get pleased with more social shares, comment, sales, and TRUST!

1. Tell them stories…and get to the point!

People like to read stories, when you write interesting stories, they will fully read it, otherwise, most of the readers online are skimmers.

For example, I’ve told you a story at the beginning of this post, and you got involved in it, and you liked it too, agree?

After completing the short story, come to your main point, this increases engagements a lot!

Again, people love to read stories!

Use Videos or Podcasts

Another way to stand out from other bloggers in your niche is to provide quality content in an original way, that is different from what others are doing.

What does this mean?

Have you ever thought about creating a blog which contents are mainly videos?

Many users love videos, because they hate to struggle to read on the monitor and prefer to watch rather than read.

The same way, you can record your voice, by creating podcasts. People will be able to listen to you while doing other things, like walking, running, or driving.

At the limit, you can create content that integrate information from texts through extensive use of images, videos or podcasts.

Some niches are particularly suited to this “diversification“.

Consider, for example, the blogs that talk about food. Writing a post about a recipe is fine, but the result would be greater if you could provide photos of the dishes cooked. Or even better, a video of the preparation of the recipe. Or else, a podcast explaining everything, so your audience could prepare the dishes while they listen to your podcasts.

Conclusion

Here are some tips to differentiate yourself from the crowd.

I think they key is being original, unique, while providing useful information for your audience, solving their needs and problems.

Also, be sure to read a lot. In this way, you can understand your competition and get to know the latest news in your niche.

What do you think?

Are you blogging in a crowded niche?

According to you, what are the steps needed to build a successful blog in a saturated market?

Please let me have your views in the comments below, thanks!

Act on Frequency of Publication

In a crowded niche, probably the popular bloggers publish with a low frequency.

This gives you a good opportunity.

In fact, you can decide to create a blog which is updated with quality content every day.

In this way, you will fill with information the empty space left by other bloggers. And you’ll have more chance to give your readers a preview of the most important news in your niche.

On the other side, if there are many bloggers who post every day, but their content is fairly short and hasty, you can do the opposite thing.

You can choose to create a blog that publishes with a lower frequency, but with very long and detailed articles.

5. Choose Your Personal Style

What does it mean?

Let me explain with a few examples.

Is your niche full of formal bloggers? Well, use a style of informal communication.

You can also evaluate, in certain situations, to be a little provocateur, or contrarian.

In short, my advice is to differentiate yourself from the anonymous mass using a fresh, direct and agile communication.

Conversely, you may notice that in your niche most bloggers write in a casual way as to verge on the superficiality.

Maybe between users there is a not yet satisfied need of information provided in a more thoughtful, mature and institutional way.

Understand Needs and Problems

The audience of a niche has a number of specific problems to solve. This means, they are on the hunt for quality content which help them find the solutions.

For example, you can write tutorials on how to use new tools or resources, or guide on how to solve specific needs.

Consider that people have different psychologies. Not everyone think the same way. And this can also be kept in mind if you want to create a blog in a saturated niche.

Let me explain by examples.

There will be people oriented toward practical solutions. They do not like much the theory. Therefore, an idea would be to write for them quality content such as “how to” tutorials.

Then there are the users who are in love with the latest news (for example, in technology, these people are called early adopters).

For them, you should create quality content which explains the latest innovations affecting their niche.

Basically, the idea is to create a blog to respond to your audience needs.

Segment Your Audience

Users of a niche have different degrees of knowledge of the subject, with different experiences or resources available.

For example, according to the characteristics of the people, you should consider a basic, an intermediate and an advanced level.

There are those who do not have any experience and there are those who have a lot. Some have financial possibilities equal to zero, while some others can spend a lot.

Also, consider that age influences the way in which users approach to topics within a niche.

Think about building a blog on how to make career decisions. In this case, you can address your writing to university students, recently graduated, professionals in their forties or managers over fifty.

In general, as you can see, within the same niche there are many different types of users to whom you can turn.

Each of these segments is a homogeneous group of readers who are hungry for your quality content.

This action will have another advantage: you will understand precisely who you should address your communication to.

And this will lead you to create a blog that will be much easier to write, since you have a clearer idea of who your audience is and what content they need.

Get Off on the Right Foot

The first step is to start in the right foot, and choosing the best option according to your needs. Here are some options you have:

Use a Blogging Platform

Blogger (by Google) offers you an easy method to create your first website. It’s completely free and widely used. Many popular bloggers started this way.

With WordPress.com, you have the opportunity to build your blog using the most popular platform worldwide. But like Blogger, your domain name will not be hosted by yourself.

Use a Publishing Platform

A publishing Platform (can be referred as a microblogging platform) like Medium or Tumblr is essentially a non-branded platform for publishing content and maintaining a blog. A publishing platform is essentially a blogging platform meets a social networking website.

Use a Website Creator

Website Builder and IM Creator are free website creators. They have a simple to use drag and drop platform and many templates to choose from. You can have your content published in a matter of minutes.

If you opt to go with a website builder for your blog, it’s extremely important to conduct some research on all the different ones you can use. Read up on some popular online website creator tools to choose the one you like the most.

Use a CMS

If you want to have complete control on your website, and you feel ready to have your self hosted blog, you can use the most popular CMS WordPress.org and a free hosting platform like Hostt to start.

In any case, I suggest you to read this tutorial recently published on BloggingCage (which will guide you through choosing your niche, domain name, hosting service, CMS, theme, etc) :
